A Storm of Swords is a new expansion for The Game of Thrones board game. This expansion includes many new features! There is a new variant game with a new map that pits the great houses of Stark, Lannister, Greyjoy, and Baratheon against one another to control the Riverlands and Kings Landing. There are new neutral houses to sway your cause - House Frey, Tyrrell, Arryn and the many brigands, mercanaries and broken men that fill Westeros. A whole new deck of cards called tactics cards add a whole new powerful dimension to the classic or variant game. Robb Stark, Jaime Lannister and many others take to the field with new Leader rules. There are two leaders for every house for use in both the variant and classic version of the game. You can take hostages or execute prisoners for the first time. There are also new Wilding and House cards for each deck to shake up the game. This expansion rquires The Game of Thrones base game to play. ages 12+.
