Memoir '44 is a battle game where players face-off in over a dozen World War II battles. Each battle mimics terrain, troop placements, and the objectives of each army. Deploying forces through the use of Command and Tacitc cards the wise commander uses the skills of his units. Easy to learn and fast paced Memoir '44 requires strategic card play, timely dice rolling, and an agressive battle plan to achieve victory. The set includes a large double sided battle map, 144 Axis and Allied army pieces, 36 obstacles, 44 terrain tiles, 60 command cards, 9 summary cards, 8 battle dice, a 32 page rules and scenarios booklet, and a Days of Wonder online access code.
