GamerWench note: Descent pits one player as the Overlord against 2-4 other players who are heroes. A cross between D&D and a board game this is a quick and easy way to get in an RPG fix without rolling characters. We have enjoyed this game for some time now. For every scenario there is a chance for either the Overlord or the Players to win. Those with the smartest battle plan will usually prevail. The expansions for this game are fun and add new dimensions to the game which make it like new all over again!
